Sunday 22 August
Annual Queensland Corvette Club Concourse
"Corvettes on the Coast" - Southport, Gold Coast [The old carpark area that the council has just finished redeveloping]
Plans are underway for another terrific celebration of the Corvette marque. All Corvette owners and fans are invited to attend the Biggest & Best QCC Concourse yet!!
Enter your car for judging or just bring it along to show the world......All Corvettes welcome...
There will be trade stands, rock 'n' roll music, product displays and more....
Details will be posted as the event draws near but, be sure to pencil this date in your diary so you don't miss out.
The entry point will be via the pool carpark so be early as the gates will have to be shut off to keep the council and public safe from marauding Vettes.
SUNDAY 22ND AUGUST 2010
Qld Corvette Club, in conjunction with the Gold Coast City Council “Science Fair”, invite all Corvette owners and/or enthusiasts, to our Annual Corvette Show/shine.
Location:- Broadwater Parklands, Southport
Times:- Public 9am -> 4pm
Corvette Entrants – Your car must be in Broadwater Carpark between 7am and 8.30am to obtain entry to the show/shine grassed area.
For obvious safety reasons, the Park bollards will be replaced as it comes close to opening time for the General Public.
Cost:- $25 for your 1st Corvette. Any additional Corvettes are free.
Entrant forms with judging criteria may be downloaded from our Club Website qldcorvetteclub.com.au
Trophy presentation will be at approx 2.30pm.
Entrants may not remove their Corvettes before 3pm, as crowds of up to 5,000 are expected to attend the Science Fair and cars need to be escorted off the grassed park area.
Performax Qld will be bringing along their awesome red ZR1, so don’t miss that!
The “Science Fair” has plenty of attractions for adults and children, some of which include V8 simulators, radio-controlled boat races on the Broadwater, bridge building competitions, solar car races, rubber band vehicle races, animal displays from Fleay’s Fauna, sideshow rides and much, much more.
Sample bags will be on sale and the proceeds will go to our chosen charity, Camp Quality.
Displays and lectures from local schools and universities and CSIRO will also be ongoing. There will be so much to do while your Corvette is “parked” for the day.
Come and join us for this awesome Event! _________________ adventure before dementure
